Which Christmas tree to buy?
We know we shouldn’t have favourites…but the Nordmann Fir Christmas tree of course! We know we are supposed to be impartial but what can we say, she’s a beauty. From bushy arms to great needle retention the Nordmann Fir is a Christmas classic. She is perfect for families as she is soft to the touch with low drop needles, meaning less hazards (and less Christmas worrying). With strong branches, Christmas ornaments sit perfectly, and you can be assured that no mountain is high enough, nor is any ornament large enough to bring her down! The Nordmann Fir has beautifully unique dark green needles meaning she is a stunning sight, and recognisable from miles away.
Which Christmas trees smell the best?
Why of course it’s the Fraser Fir Christmas tree! Like her sister the Nordmann Fir, the Fraser Fir Christmas tree is a beautifully designed pyramid shaped tree with flat, shiny deep green needles. The foliage is dense and soft meaning it’s the perfect christmas tree for all members of the family to decorate. Our Fraser Firs are generally narrow making them ideal for smaller spaces. But don’t make the mistake of excusing the lack of size for lack of character, for our Fraser Firs can hold enough Christmas excitement and festive scent to turn the most British of houses, into something out of Lapland.
What is a traditional Christmas tree?
When it comes to a traditional Christmas, there’s no alternative than a Norway spruce. With a strong Christmas scent and beautifully designed needles, the Norway Spruce is a must. She can be quite temperamental, with a playful genre that encourages needle dropping, but once you have her set and transitioned into the family she can create a perfect Christmas atmosphere in seconds. Like a great wild reindeer, she can be difficult to tame, but once you have grown to her, the Norway Spruce is an amazingly beautiful and charming tree that can set off a room in a blink of a heartbeat, trust us she’s worth it. (After all, it’s not about the journey, it’s the destination).
