About us

The Reynolds family

From our family, to yours
The Reynolds family have been growing Christmas trees for over 25 years from their home farm in Beguildy, Mid Wales. Each year they harvest approximately 30,000 trees. They always look to do their bit to look after the environment; for each tree they remove, they replant another! Each year the family farm is growing more and more, providing their retail sites here in Keele and Ty Cerrig in Cardiff with the best quality Christmas trees for you to take home.
All of our trees are only harvested at the end of November ensuring them to be farm fresh in your home through until the new year. - See our Tree Care Tips on how you can keep your tree fresh at home.
Buying your Christmas tree direct from the grower means you know it’s origin, our replanting programme ensures continuity of supply and ecological peace of mind and it is obviously the most cost effective.
We a proudly members of the British Christmas Tree Growers Association.

The Happy Couple

A lot of our regulars will already know Dani, but Charlie made it official earlier this year with a romantic proposal in Italy! Dani said 'Yes' so along with planning a busy Christmas season, we are also planning the Big Day!

Our Story

The Beginning

Over 25 years ago, the Reynolds family started planting Christmas trees at the family farm in Beguildy, on the English/Welsh border.  It’s a busy time for the Reynolds’ leading up to Christmas. The whole family always do their bit to chip in and help out. Charlie’s dad, Stephen,  looks after the growing of the Christmas trees in Beguildy. Ensuring all our retail sites including Charlie in Keele, and Charlie’s mum, Helen and brother Bill in Cardiff have enough trees to sell every day on the run up to Christmas.

The family are proud to say the farm has been growing each year. Starting off in 1995 planting approximately 3,000 trees, they are now harvesting around 30,000 a year. Growing Fraser Fir, Nordmann Fir & Norway Spruce. It takes approximately 12 years for the cycle of each Christmas tree, so it definitely keeps the family busy all year round caring for the trees ensuring the best quality fresh from the field, into your homes.

Seasons

Preparations always start at the farms in the summer, getting ready for us to open the retail sites at the end of November. Each year the family always look forward to welcoming all customers to our farms, to pick their perfect tree, enjoy a warm drink, explore the shop and enjoy the family friendly Christmas atmosphere.
